As for me:
I am attending Arizona State University (Phoenix, AZ), have a Bachelor's in Business Management, and will receive my second Bachelor's in Biological Sciences next year while I wait to hear back from medical schools. My work experience consists of sales and management of sales teams.
No children, but a wife of just over two years. She is in the last year of her Physician's Assistant program at Midwestern University.

I'm 53, married, with 5 wonderful children, 3 fabulous children-in-law, and 6 incredible grandchildren. We live in Smithfield, Utah. I practice law (civil litigation with emphasis on family law) in Logan, Utah. BA with dual majors in Econ & Spanish from USU 1978. JD from George Washington Univ. 1981 (lived in Arlington, Virginia 1978-81). Practiced law in Logan 1981-85, Houston 1985-97, and back to Logan 97-present. Also, lived in Quito, Ecuador 1971-72, and served an LDS mission in Spain 1975-77.
My brother is headed down to D.C. for his JD beginning this year. He's going to Georgetown, but same neck of the woods.
Lived most of my life in Logan, UT. Majored in journalism and minored in psychology at USU. Have spent my adult career in the finance industry. Got married in 2004 and have a little girl turning 8 soon and a 4-year-old boy. There's a third one on the way. Served 2-year LDS mission in the Navajo Nation. Fiercely libertarian!
Hey, Nic,
I would classify myself as a small l libertarian too, but I don't know if "fierce" fits well with "libertarian."
I'm the 2nd of Chris's 5 kids (Jeff is the third, my little bro). Married since 05, one awesome daughter of 17 months. BS in econ, BS in political science from Utah State, 2007. My wife also graduated in 07 from USU with a BS in accounting. Currently in my 2nd year of law school at WVU. Worked with Nic from 2005-2007 at World Savings & Wachovia as a loan adviser/officer towards the end before the bubble burst and our whole office got shut down. Interned with Sen. Bob Bennett (R-UT) spring 2008 before starting law school. I consider myself a conservative/libertarian hybrid, with slightly more emphasis on the conservative side.
Also, I served an LDS mission from 02-04 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Can't forget that!
Another older brother of mine, sorry to keep bringing them up, served in Buenos Aires from '99-01. He couldn't get enough yerba mate (don't know how to spell it) upon his return!
Oh yeah man, mate is amazing! Have you tried it? Usually, most people who didn't serve there don't like it. Which mission was your brother in - north, west, or south? I was Bs. As. west. I brought a bunch of yerba home, but a lot of exploded in my suitcase on the plane and security at the Miami airport who thought it was marijuana! Good times.
What an awesome "welcome home!" I do not remember in which mission he served, but once I get a hold of him I'll let you know. I tried yerba and definitely didn't like it. I sure thought the silver, filtered straw was cool though.
I also have had mate, and if I remember right, doesn't it taste like a lawnmower, only like a dirty one?
I really don't have any meaningful accomplishments, except once I drank 5 cans of Mountain Dew in 59 seconds in high school.
Hobbies include dominating Rich in ping pong, Devin in any political argument, and Chris in boggle. Oh wait I said that wrong, that should have read "being dominated by..."
Now that I think about it Rich v. Devin in ping pong would be a barn burner.
I'd like to think of myself as a fiscally responsible conservative democrat. A few months ago I decided that was probably more in the independent range. I dislike the policies of both the far-right and the far-left equally as much. My disdain for Bill Maher and Sean Hannity is approximately equal.
I am currently trying to decide who is the worse(r) husband: Gov. Sanford or John Edwards. Lately I've been leaning towards Edwards but it's a tough call. I'm open to comment and would love to see a vote.
Tough call, Creighton. Elizabeth Edwards has cancer, but also was fairly ambitious a la Hillary. Edwards is described as "despicable" by Andrew Young who weirdly took the fall for Edwards hurting Young's own innocent wife in the process. Also, Edwards fathered, disowned, and acknowledged his child before the child was able to say "Da-da??" So for sheer family havoc, I say Edwards. But he had enough smarts to kind of drop out of public life. Sanford is the pain that keeps on hurting . . . his state and his family. So, for the family / political combo wreck, Sanford wins.
I don't think I've played ping-pong since the last time you and I played Creighton (Christmas 08?). So I'd need to shake the rust off before getting humiliated by Rich. I'd love to play some time though, but I rarely make it out of WV these days, much less to travel to AZ. And to be straight up honest, I'd never consider any debate you (Creighton) and I have had as "domination" by either person. Instead, I think debating with you has pulled me more towards the middle as well, and for that, I sincerely thank you.
And in a close race, I think the winner of the ultimate scumbag award would have to go to Edwards. I hear his misstress is now trying to win a legal battle to keep their sex tape from coming out on the internet. He cheats on his wife while she's going through chemo treatments, impregnates someone on his campaign staff, makes a sleazy sex tape with her, then totally abandons his responsibilities as a dad. I guess it could have been worse - he could have told her to abort the baby, and we could have elected him as president. The latest I've heard about Sanford is that he has been asking his ex-wife Jenny about relationship advice with his Argentine "soul mate." That's pretty cold. But Chris is right, at least Edwards knew to retire from political life. Sanford needs to do the same and move down to Argentina and disappear.
@Chris and Michelle -- Let me clarify: I'm not a lukewarm, weekend fan of liberty. I am a dedicated, full-time proponent of liberty. If I had the means, I'd move to New Hampshire so my state motto would be "Live Free or Die". Liberty is important to most people, but for me, it is paramount.
@Devin -- World Savings! Good times. Remember back when banks, like, worked?
I'm Matt. I've tried to change my settings so it comes up as Matt but I don't know how.
I'm Devin's brother-in-law. I'm basically a shadow of him except not as cool or good looking.
I got a BS in Political Science up at USU, the greatest school on the planet.
While I was up there I got dang good at foosball. That is the one thing in life I'm really good at...and wasting time reading about sports.
I'm married to a wonderful wife who could care less about politics and sports :( I have a beautiful baby girl who as far as we can tell likes watching football with me :)
Politically, I'm still trying to figure out just what I am. I think I am some form of conservative but not republican. I love freedom. But I don't like what some try to justify under the name of freedom. I love the founders of this country - hence my title Publius.
I'm in my second year of law school at the UofU - classless, just ask Max Hall, and liberal.
